Family camping in South Tyrol

The western part of South Tyrol is especially varied and sunny: exciting themed trails and challenging mountain paths provide immense joy while hiking. The cycle path along the via Claudia Augusta road, the Watles adventure mountain, outdoor swimming pools, climbing parks, and playgrounds promise fun and variety. The summer toboggan run at Meran 2000, mountain carting, and rafting give you an adrenaline kick, while the railway world in Rabland and the bird show at Tyrol Castle amaze visitors young and old. In winter, ski on easy slopes, go tobogganing at high speed, or ice skating on Reschen lake.

Families feel particularly at home in Eisacktal, also known as the “valley of paths”. From the Woody Walk on Plose to the Mountain Adventure World in Ratschings, from the high ropes course in Villnöss to the Skytrek in Sterzing and from the mountain disc golf course on the Rosskopf mountain to the Brenner Cycle Route – there is an incredible amount to do and see here!
