Pustertal
The Pustertal valley is often said to be clearly recognisable from the air by its features which give it the name "green valley". Impressive mountain peaks (ie, the "Drei Zinnen", or "three Turrets") , forests, lakes, streams, ponds, bulwarks chaples, farmsteads, tidy countryside - one is overcome by a longing for sun, water, cool, clean woodland air, hiking and mountain biking in summer and skiing, snowboarding, cross country skiing and other snow sports in winter.
